The first time I invested 5k into a coaching program, I was so disappointed.
Honestly, it was like I just flushed it down the toilet.
But I’ll get into that in a minute…
The last year and a half I have been without a coach and its actually been so great.
I learned to trust my intuition and really design a business I want, not to be influenced by other peoples success and failures.
But after doing this whole thing solo for a while I am ready to spice it up a little.
Here’s the truth: I’ve been doing this course world for about 4 and a half years, and In the beginning, I’ve had two very different experiences with high-ticket coaching programs.
One was a total dumpster fire 🫠 (yep, I said it), and the other?
Absolute gold.
I learned a lot about myself, my business goals, and what it truly means to invest in the right support.
But after my last container (even though it was lovely), I decided to take a break. I leaned into the “University of Me” method—think podcasts, books, and DIY courses—and honestly? It was exactly what I needed to get clear on my low-ticket, high-value dream business model.
You can learn so much by just diving into learning on your own.
But sometimes, you hit a point where you need fresh eyes and expert feedback from someone who is just a few steps ahead.
So, I recently took the leap and joined a new coaching program. It’s a year-long container, and I couldn’t be more excited! 🎉
I’m typically a wall flower in groups but I joined this one because of the one on one call aspect.
I’m serious about scaling this year and want all the input I can get.
If you’ve ever wondered whether hiring a coach or joining a program is the right move, here are 3 questions to ask yourself before jumping in:
1. Does this coach or program align with my goals?
Make sure the coach specializes in what you want to learn.
If your goal is scaling with low-ticket funnels, for example, don’t join a program focused on high-ticket masterminds or live launching.
If you don’t want to run ads, don’t join a container that focuses heavily on ads.
2. Do I resonate with this coach’s teaching style and values?
This one’s big.
You’ll spend a lot of time in their world, so ask yourself: “Do I like how they teach and show up? Could I be friends with this person?” If the answer is no, trust your gut.
Red Flags are a real thing.
3. Am I ready to commit—financially and with my time?
Coaching isn’t just about the money—it’s about showing up and putting in the work.
Check your calendar.
Are you in a season where you can fully participate? If not, it might be worth waiting until you can.
At the end of the day, joining a coaching container can be transformational if it’s the right fit. And hey, if you’re not ready for a high-ticket program, that’s okay too!
My Prep School membership is always open for $99/month—designed to give you the tools to scale your business at an accessible price.
