Let’s talk Facebook Ads! You know how much I love using them to grow my business, but this year has been a rollercoaster. Remember when my ads account got hacked? It was rough! But I’m back on track and I’m going to share the strategies that are finally getting me consistent 2x ROI – even after all that chaos.
What I’m Advertising:
First things first, let’s be clear. I’m not just throwing ads out there willy-nilly. I’m targeting them towards a specific funnel:
The Mini Course Method: This is my core offer – a low-cost, high-impact mini course priced at $27.
Bump Offer: This is a valuable digital product that builds on the mini course, like a bundle of templates or resources, for $37.
One-Time Offer: This is the big kahuna at the back end – usually a more expensive offer, like one-on-one coaching or a high-ticket program, priced at $67.
So, this funnel is a simple three-step process, but it’s incredibly effective!
Why This Works:
I’m not running ads to every single product I sell. I’m specifically targeting the $27 mini course, because that’s what gets people in the door. Once they’re in, I can offer them the other amazing things I have to offer.
The average spend in my cart is somewhere between $27 and $131 depending on how many offers they purchase. It’s an attractive price point for new customers, and it lets me show them the value of my expertise.
The Secret Sauce:
Here are the Facebook ad strategies that have finally got me to 2x ROI:
Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns: I’ve been using these for a while, but they’ve never been this consistent. Here’s why:
Set of Three: I run them in groups of three campaigns – two with a lifetime budget and one with a daily budget. This seems to play well with the algorithm.
Cost Per Result: I set my cost per result goal to $27, matching the price of my mini course. This tells the algorithm what kind of spending I’m looking for.
Variety of Ads: Under each campaign, I use four or five different ads to keep things fresh. Mockups, simple text ads, and even photos of myself (real people connect!) are performing well.
Scaling Up:
Once you’ve got a winning formula, it’s time to scale it up! I do this by:
More of the Good Stuff: I’ll create more advantage+ shopping campaigns using similar creative and targeting.
Budget Boost: I’ll carefully increase the budget on my highest-performing campaigns, watching closely to make sure the ROI stays high.

Here’s the most important part: You must feed the AI!
Import Your Audience: Upload a CSV file of your purchasers’ data into your Facebook Business Manager’s AI settings. This helps the AI algorithm understand who your ideal customers are.
